Before you buy: what’s included, and what your office adds

How it works: self-paced online lessons with narrated videos and a quiz after each lesson, worked examples with real numbers, and a final exam of 50 questions drawn from a bank of 100. There is no live class. Learners can send a question to our trainers from any lesson (we answer within 2 business days) or call (916) 770-4050, Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm Pacific.

The program teaches the rules and the workflow in a software-neutral way. Your office adds its own practice management system, payer contracts, fee schedules and financial policy. A worksheet in lesson 1.6 helps the learner write those down. Learners should use your office’s current licensed CDT manual for official code descriptors.

Audience

Who it’s for

  • People starting a career in dental billing, insurance coordination or the business office.
  • Front desk staff and dental assistants cross-training into billing.
  • Practices that want every biller trained the same way, with a record to show for it.
  • Billers who learned on the job and want a structured, complete foundation and a verifiable certificate.
The law

Is a license required?

No license or certification is required by law to work as a dental biller. This program awards a certificate of completion from Comodo Technology. It is not an industry certification such as CDBS or CDC, it is not accredited, and it does not carry continuing-education (CE) credit.

What it gives you is a structured, complete course of study, current to the 2024 ADA claim form and 2026 rules, and a dated certificate with a serial number that an employer can verify online.
